Highlights
Five easy steps
It takes five steps to your custom bending cell:
- Determine the required robot payload
- Choose your press brake
- Select the input station
- Choose the output method
- Pick the right robot grippers
Three platforms
LVD offers three platforms – RBS 4, RBS 40 and RBS 80 – to suite different part sizes and weights. Size, weight and profile length determine the required robot payload and the RBS platform from which to start. For small parts up to 4 kg, RBS 4 is the perfect fit.
Range of press brakes
In each platform you can choose between two or more press brakes from LVD’s comprehensive press brake range, depending on the functionality you need. For RBS 4, select between the following press brakes:
– PPED-7 50/20 – Hydraulic, economical press brake
– Dyna-Press Pro (EFL) 40/15 – Fast, electric-drive press brake.
Input and output stations
Select from input boxes with various stack options, output pallets, euroboxes, drop units, or a part conveyor for optimal material flow.
Gripper solutions
A universal gripper gives maximum flexibility for the compact RBS 4 system. Manual gripper change is also available.
Easy programming
Powered by LVD’s CADMAN-SIM software, RBS 4 automatically generates the bending and robot program. No robot teaching at the machine is required.
Easy-Form® Laser adaptive bending
The optional bending system on the Dyna-Press Pro press brake ensures angle accuracy from the first bend to the last bend by compensating for variations in material thickness, strain hardening, and grain direction.
Robotic or manual operation
For maximum flexibility, the system can operate manually. The backgauge fingers are designed for both robotic and manual bending.
CADMAN® software suite
Integrates the entire process flow with modules for bend programming, CADMAN-B, robot software, CADMAN-SIM, drawing import, CADMAN-SDI, job tracking, CADMAN-JOB, and ERP connectivity. The Touch-i4 tablet provides real-time KPIs and supports part sorting and validation.
