Highlights

• Fast automatic programming
  The software automatically calculates the bend program, gripper positions and a collision-free robot path, then sets up the tooling and produces the part. There is no need to teach the robot at the machine.
• Auto-adapting gripper engineered by LVD
  The universal gripper automatically adapts to the workpiece to accommodate a number of part geometries. Its smart design saves investment in different grippers and gripper changeover time.
• Ease of operation
  Operating the Ulti-Form is much easier than conventional robotic bending cells because of the unique automatic programming feature. Even less experienced operators will be able to operate the cell. They don’t need to program or teach the robot at the machine.
• Easy-Form® Laser adaptive bending
  LVD’s Easy-Form® Laser (EFL) system ensures the bend angle is accurate every time. It enables Ulti-Form to consistently deliver perfect parts.
• Automated or manual mode
  Ulti-Form offers the flexibility to operate in either automated or manual mode: automated for large batches and manual mode for small batches and complex parts.
• Auto-tool changing press brake
  Ulti-Form features a press brake with integrated tool changer and tooling warehouse. The robot and press brake work in synergy to keep changeover time to a minimum. As the robot picks the workpiece and centers the part, the press brake changes the tooling.
• Cost-effective to own and operate
  Ulti-Form offers a complete automated cell that balances price and performance with an extended range of features: an auto-tool changing press brake with adaptive bending system Easy-Form® Laser, a universal gripper, dynamic robot, pallet dispenser and conveyor, large output zone and more.
• Large output zone
  A large output zone includes an automated pallet dispenser and a conveyor system for 10 pallets that moves finished parts outside the cell, freeing space for long production runs. In addition, there is a drop zone for direct evacuation of small parts.
• CADMAN® software suite
  A full suite of software modules create a fully integrated process flow, including CADMAN-B bend programming software, CADMAN-SIM robot software, CADMAN-SDI drawing importer, CADMAN-JOB real-time data collection, job tracking and ERP connection, as well as a Touch-i4 tablet for KPI performance indication and sorting and validating parts.
